About Us
Welcome to SILAMBU, a learning center devoted to advancing Tamil heritage, language, and culture.
Since its founding in 2022, SILAMBU has been offering top-notch Tamil language to youth and adults in the US. We provide a variety of programs and courses to meet the needs of learners of all ages and abilities. Our qualified and committed teachers are passionate about teaching the Tamil language and culture to our students.
At SILAMBU, we believe that learning a language involves a lot more than picking up a few new words and grammar rules, it also consists in knowing and respecting the rich culture and traditions that are wrapped around the language. Our MNTS Curriculum, therefore, places equal importance on developing students’ awareness and appreciation of Tamil culture, literature, music, and art, in addition to their language skills.
In addition to general courses like literature and conversation classes in Tamil, we also provide beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace in our classrooms because of the welcoming environment we give the students.
In order to inspire kids to learn and realize their full potential, our school is dedicated to offering a supportive and encouraging learning environment. We think that by teaching our children about the Tamil language and culture, they will better comprehend who they are, their roots, and how the world works.

SILAMBU, the non-profit organization, shall aim to promote peace, love, and economic growth through social upskilling and cultivating vibrant communities, a robust cultural economy, and a resilient, creative sector by nurturing the children, youth, and adults of Tamil-English-speaking families in the United States of America.
Our Goals
To address the social-emotional issues of children, youth, and families.
To make recommendations to the bi-lingual (Tamil-English) families and Schools concerning the needs of students.
To promote social projects and community programs for families to do together.
To encourage, coordinate and recognize volunteers and their efforts.
To teach Tamil as the second language.
To create a vibrant & engaged community through community clubs (Nature, Robotics, Sports, Arts, Music, Career, Book Reading & Health)
